My sister’s gone
Like pollen leaving a dandelion In the air the white dust swirled
Leaving its respective flower as she left us
Our beloved family
Shattered to pieces of glass
Normalcy a mere thought
I yearn for everything to be as it was
The past so haunting but beautiful
If my eyes shut for long enough
There we are holding hands and never letting go
Running through fields of color
Our imaginations never ceasing
Till the brink of dawn
Evangelia Botsis is a 17 year old girl from Montreal, Quebec. She is endlessly curious and draws inspiration from the beauty of her childhood and the reluctance of growing up. More commonly known as Eva by her family and friends, she yearns for knowledge in everything. Nature has always been so beautiful to her and she uses it to convey emotion in her poems.
