Humans spin through the Universe on a rock they call Earth
That’s a known fact.
Imagine an Alien from another Galaxy
Coming to the Milky Way and discovering Earth for the first time
The Alien would think,
“Human species, they are all the same.”
Maybe the alien would have another word than human.
Maybe the alien would call us
Flesh and bones
Flesh and blood
Or just blobs
And maybe the Alien would be right.
We are Flesh and bones and blood and blobs.
We are the same.
But the world I live in and the world my neighbor lives in
Is so different.
Even more so

Than the world of someone three miles down the street

the difference between privilege and the ghetto
I live in privilege
I work in privilege
Even when I visit the Ghetto
I work on Earth
I work as a human
I am the same
And
I am very different
I am Privilege
